29 March 2008 - Rossiters has been in business for 150 Years
The company was started in very small premises in Winner Street, Paignton in 1858. Two years before Abraham Lincoln became President and thirty years before Jack the Ripper was on the loose in London. We have had two world wars, the telephone, television, aeroplane and the car has been invented. Man has walked on the moon.
Still a family business, Rossiters seeks to provide a good place to shop and to work for an increasingly widening community. We are proud of our heritage, but we embrace and welcome the future and the challenges it may bring. |
