Putting something back into the community...
The company being a local family business, set up the charity fund in order to be able to put something back into the local community. With Ross Bear as its mascot the fund sets out to help local charities and other community organisations in the form of cash donations or gift vouchers.
The fund comprises donations from the Company together with sums raised by our customers and members of staff.
During the year there are Charity evenings held in store and in addition to raising money for our own fund other local charities are invited to partake in order to raise funds and in addition they receive a donation from the Ross Bear charity fund. Last year we raised over £250 for the Ross Bear fund on these evenings.
